The Happenings of Collision Analysis
It has been a busy summer for our consultants at Collision Analysis:
 
Brandon Line attended the Canadian Association of Road Safety Professionals (CARSP) Conference in Ottawa, ON, June 17 – 19, 2024.  The theme of this conference was Safe Mobility: Achieving Vision Zero in Urban and Rural Environments. Brandon will benefit from the conference while working on our Transport Canada contract.
 
Lonnie Unger, our heavy truck expert, expanded his knowledge by attending Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorder (HVEDR) Use in Traffic Crash Investigation Analyst Training in Nashville, TN, July 22 – 25, 2024. The course was put on by the Forensic Training Group, LLP, offering further training into the history, development, and function of heavy vehicle digital forensics.
 
Tyler Gerritsen completed the SAE International Photogrammetry and Analysis of Digital Media course in Denver, CO, August 28 – 30, 2024.  This course is in addition to Tyler’s video investigation Examiner and Operator certificates received from Input-Ace, making his video analysis knowledge invaluable to our files.
 

Steve Thannhauser upgraded his PC Crash skills by attending the virtual course offered by MEA Forensic on September 17, 2024, as well as exhibited at the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association (ACTLA) Master Class Seminar in Calgary, AB, September 24, 2024.  Please contact Steve for your collision reconstruction files.
